Verbos Electronics Voltage Multistage 10

The Voltage Multistage 10 is Verbo's latest product in 2026.

10 stages in 30 HP – two more than the original – with the same panel size.

This number is a nod to Mark's earliest CD4017-based sequencer designs from the 1990s.

The Multistage 10 (like the Multistage 16) is based on discrete transistor stages that allow gate inputs on each stage. This makes it possible to jump to each stage with external gates and start multiple loops and sequences, which are then played back in a loop later on. The new sequencer core also detects when it has changed to a new stage. So when Strobe is latched and a varying analog signal changes the step, a gate output signal (as well as Ref. Ramp and Slide on CV line a) is output each time a new stage is selected, instead of the gate remaining constantly active as before.

The c.v. row switch positions are active when Strobe is latched. This allows random voltages to generate CV signals that are completely independent of the grid.

All outputs are now equipped with LEDs. The functions of the original Voltage Multistage remain fully intact. Patching the stage gate outputs to Enable, Sustain, and Strobe creates complex interaction possibilities. At the same time, the stage select inputs provide exceptional flexibility in an analog sequencer.
